Sharon Giovinazzo is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive, strategic leader, and advocate whose career has been dedicated to expanding opportunities for individuals who are blind or have low vision.

With more than 25 years of executive leadership in the blindness and disability community, she has built a reputation for transforming organizations, cultivating philanthropic partnerships, and creating innovative pathways to employment, independence, and leadership.

As Executive Director of the TAD Foundation, Sharon is leading the organization's next chapter of national growth. Her vision is to strengthen TAD's role as a premier catalyst for employment, leadership development, mentorship, and corporate engagement, ensuring that blind and low-vision individuals have access to meaningful careers and the opportunity to reach their full potential. She is focused on expanding strategic partnerships with employers, growing philanthropic investment, developing sustainable funding models, and increasing the Foundation's national impact.

Prior to joining the TAD Foundation, Sharon served as Chief Executive Officer of the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco and previously as President and CEO of World Services for the Blind.

Throughout her executive career, she has successfully led complex nonprofit organizations through periods of significant growth, overseeing operations, workforce development, strategic planning, fundraising, government relations, and board governance.

Sharon has secured millions of dollars in philanthropic support through foundation grants, corporate partnerships, major gifts, and strategic collaborations. Her leadership has helped organizations expand programs, strengthen financial sustainability, modernize operations, and build innovative employment initiatives that connect talented blind professionals with employers across the country.
